What is sales intelligence?

My definition of sales intelligence is data that you can leverage to enhance or increase the opportunity of making a sale!

Types of sales intelligence that are readily available via LinkedIn include:

  • In common connections
  • In common groups
  • Educational history
  • Work history
  • Philanthropic and charitable invovlement
  • Influencers they follow
  • Hobbies/interest outside of work
  • People who have recommended them and vice versus
  • Content they publish
  • Content they engage with (like, comment, share)
  • Company press releases/updates
  • Events they are involved with or are attending
